Overview

The Native American Rangelands course is a partnership to help Tribal natural resources staff address challenges that impact the restoration and stewardship of rangelands on Tribal lands. This course includes a series of free modules pertaining to fundamental ecology, grazing ecology, fire and grass, and more. Project objectives are tailored to community needs (as we receive input), cultural approaches, tribal administrative needs, and local ecological communities, but will also address compliance requirements for federal reporting. This program is supported through a partnership between the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, the USDA Forest Service, the Intertribal Agriculture Council, the Native American Fish & Wildlife Society, the Intertribal Timber Council, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the Society for Range Management.
In this section you'll learn about the course structure, and also provide us with some information about yourself and your expectations for the modules.
